Ashok Is A Nepalese Father And Husband Who One Day Decides To Leave His Small Hamlet To Seek A Better Life In The Outside World. He Travels With The Hope Of Finding A Secure Financial Form Of Survival And His Wife And Children Are Always On His Mind. However From Lhasa To Antananarivo To Johannesburg Ashok Finds Nothing But Difficulty. . Happiness And Peace Are Elusive But Ashok Continues His Travels As A Migrant Worker. He Moves Along The Valleys By The Mountains Of Tibet Far Beyond His Birthplace. He Finds A Strange Sort Of Love With A Woman Half His Age. He Sees Death But He Also Finds Life As His Explorations Take Him Further Than He Could Have Imagined. . Yet Ashok Remains Unfulfilled No Matter How Hard He Searches For Peace.
