The Moon Pool

Goodwin is accompanied on his journey by a beautiful young woman named Norhala who possesses mystical powers and knowledge of the pool. Together they discover a hidden city inhabited by a race of superhuman beings who possess incredible strength and intellect. As Goodwin and Norhala explore the city they uncover a dark and ancient prophecy that threatens to destroy the world. They also encounter a number of terrifying creatures including giant scorpions and winged demons. The Moon Pool is known for its vivid and imaginative descriptions of the hidden city and its inhabitants as well as its complex and multi-layered plot. The book also explores themes of power knowledge and the corrupting influence of ambition. While it has not been as widely read or studied as some other works of fantasy and science fiction it remains an entertaining and influential work in the genre.
