The Morning of the White Stone

<p>How can two walk together when they do not agree. Amelia McIlewain is filled with the Holy Spirit. Matthew Carlisle is filled with hatred and a festering anger toward women. Given away to relatives as a baby knowing little approval or affection Matthew leaves the home of his aunt and uncle at fifteen striking out on his own. When he meets Amelia he finds himself with feelings he has never experienced for anyone. Her tender heart is captured by the need for love she senses in Matthew. Against serious objections of her family they marry and leave on a wagon train for Texas hoping to claim land and build a homestead. A letter from the past and three objects left to Matthew by his dying mother offer hope just when Amelia is ready to give up on her marriage. Matthew realizes only by going back into his past will he find the answers he needs to overcome the darkness inside his soul.  Will he be able to save his marriage his family and himself from total destruction?</p>
