<p>The small quiet village of Glistenwood that Phynnaes called home had always felt so far from the war that ravaged the continent of Cavariel. The calmness of the town contrasted with the confusion in his heart since his father disappeared while fighting the invading religious zealots known as the Concordat of the Fallen.</p><p><br></p><p>His family took in an elven refugee named Andann when the war broke out all those years ago. His presence felt stabilizing to Phynn. That was until the night that the violence spilled into Glistenwood. Their home burned as they took his mother away from him. In Phynn's despair something ancient awoke inside him. A long forgotten power that could change everything.</p><p><br></p><p>Phynn and Andann now journey to save their mother and learn that there is more at stake than just her life. A darkness once sealed away is on the precipice of entering the world again and the young Phynn may be the only one who can stop it.
