The Motel

The Motel is the first of a series of short stories which are meant to discuss controversial topics that human consciousness is faced with in this age of confusion and despair. Each of the stories deals with a specific challenging issue. Through intense exchanges between the characters of the story the reader shall be able to sense the topic addressed in the story and the various circulating views in connection to it.The series uses the classical dialogue approach which I found to be very useful in authoring these types of works. The book Republic written by the great Greek philosopher Plato is the model I used. I hope that the reader shall find this series of fictional literary works starting with The Motel as a stimulating challenging and rewarding read.
