The Motivation for People visiting a Club

The book is giving a detail description of the viennese club scenes. Different methods such as the participant observations semi-structured unstructured interviews and conversations are used. Here the researcher is an active part of the club scene. The field-diary used by the researcher is often useful in order to establish a borderline and distance against the ones who were being observed and interviewed. The aim is to identify the phenomena of clubs considered to be an attraction point for many young people and observe the issue from different perspectives.
