<p>As a retired police officer with 13 years of service in Canada I've experienced firsthand the toll that the demanding and often traumatic nature of the job can take on mental health. My journey through PTSD has been both harrowing and enlightening leading me to pen my experiences in The Mountie and My Mind.</p><p><br></p><p>This book is more than just a recounting of my personal struggles it's a beacon of hope for fellow first responders battling their own demons. By sharing my story I aim to shine a light on the often overlooked mental health challenges that frontline heroes face every day.
