To those on the outside handsome wealthy broadcasting executive Jason Borseau''s life seems idyllic. In reality his existence is like the surreal reflections in a house of mirrors.When World War II ends Jason a decorated B-17 pilot returns to Arizona anguished and guilt-ridden after most of his crew is lost in a raid on Schweinfurt Germany. Bent on drowning his nightmares in alcohol when at last Jason rises above his self-induced oblivion he finds himself trapped in a disastrous marriage with a psychotic who abuses their young son.
