The Music of Jesus: From Composition to Koinonia

This theological examination of music composition and participation combines a thoroughly Biblical worldview with careful attention to the postmodernity of our time. The musical freedoms and responsibilities of both Christian composers and the Christian community as a whole are considered with an eye toward encouraging the Church to formulate a leading theology of art music now and for the future. The author asserts that such a theology must be rooted firmly in the concept of Jesus Christ as Lord of all creation and creativity.
