About the Book
In Kavampuzha a remote village in northern Kerala Kesu the Theyyam artist witnesses an accident but stores the secret within him. Was it an accident or a planned murder?
Kesu is worshiped as a God on particular days and is fated to live as untouchable on other days. He is invisible to the villagers but he witnesses all that happens in the village.
Mysterious incidents continue to take place in the only English medium school in the village upholding an uneasy calm in the people’s lives.
Though seasons change and years pass by in Kavampuzha it stands abandoned by time and change. The village stands as a mute spectator to the intransigent villagers as they cling to their lands customs and traditions tainted with jealousy anger and caste privileges.
Will the lives of villagers escape death and uncertainty or will they be held captives within the eternity of the groves the river and the tall blue mountains?
‘The storyline seems intelligent and fast paced with a seamless integration of flashbacks and sub-plots that add intrigue to a riveting plot.’
—Hywel Richard Pinto Author of ‘The Venus World & Europa’
