ABOUT THE BOOK: The Mysterious Money Tree is the first book in a series of delightful stories featuring one of Christian kids favorite personalities Little Tommy. Five-year-old Tommy is energetic artistic adventurous helpful curious and compassionate. His dad is a pastor and his mom stays home with him and his two younger siblings. Together with his favorite friend Bubba his little hand puppet he learns valuable lessons in responsibility friendship thankfulness sharing giving prayer and much more. When Little Tommys mysterious money tree presents him with an opportunity to spend money on himself or to help a family in need Little Tommy learns that it is more blessed to give than to receive. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Tom Toombs lives in Friendsville Tennessee with his wife Paula and three children. He has been ministering to youth and children since 1986. Tom also does magic juggling mime balloon stories comedy and drama and performs as Little Tommy all over the country and abroad. Tom loves to do school assemblies church programs camps conferences and sports award nights. ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR: Abby Wells Smith is a writer illustrator and recent cum laude graduate with a bachelor of fine arts degree from the Art Institute of Atlanta. She has been working in the publishing industry in her familys business since her early teens. Ms. Wells Smith currently divides her time between client work and developing her own projects. She is excited to be working on the Little Tommy books and is looking forward to the projects success.
