The purpose of this book is to reflect on and portray the collective spirit that characterized the integration of the youth of Niassa right from the first moments of the outcry for the National Liberation Struggle against Portuguese colonial domination. The basis of the territorial analysis is the Niassa Front with the time frame being the period between the formation of the Front for the Liberation of Mozambique (FRELIMO) in 1962 and the end of the National Liberation Struggle in 1974.The academic purpose of this work is to ensure that its contents can be explored from a scientific perspective by students and teachers in the field of History so that they can gain a correct understanding of the events of the National Liberation Struggle in which the Province of Niassa was deeply involved through the work of the Anglican Missions of Messumba and Cóbue which were the forging center for the teachers who served as future guerrillas of the national revolution.
