The Nature of Things

The Nature of Things is a series of images photographed by Samantha Nance. It was captured with a Cannon 35mm film camera in black and white film. These images were captured in Reddington Arizona and in 2012 an image from this series won the Louis Bernal Photography award. The images that make up this collection were taken on the property of two very dear neighbors. As a kid this junk yard was one of my favorite playgrounds with mesquite trees to climb and endless possibilities as to what you might find as you play it was a great place to let your imagination run wild.
