Introduction to the Original 1973 type-written document: A collection of recollections vital statistics stories and letters pertaining to the lives of Stephen Myers Nealon and Mary Eliza Avarilla Law Nealon who settled in 1883 in the Table Rock district on the acreage still owned by their family. The purpose: To give their descendants knowledge of their ancestry and thereby a better understanding of themselves and hopefully some reading they will find interesting. This history was compiled and written in part by Katherine Nealon Huntress Leavitt. Typing was done by Rose Nealon Sages grand-daughter Kathleen Rose Matteson and by Doris L Nealon widow of Robert Emmett Nealon. The illustrations were done by Kathleen Matteson and Elaine Wilson Ledbetter grand-daughter of Margaret Nealon Wilson.
