This book presents a reflection by Ricardo Antunes in his book The Privilege of Servitude where he highlights the existence of a Dialectic of Work exposing the contradiction present in the act of working (since work while emancipating also alienates man and at the same time that it liberates it also enslaves man) and also presents Norbert Elias'' view on paying taxes to the State and this reflection is brought up by Pierre Bourdieu in his book On the State where both agreed that paying taxes is extortion and therefore wondered how it is possible for extortion to become legitimate without being perceived as extortion?
