The New Testament: An Introduction Volume III The Gospel of John The Epistles of I II and III John The Book of Revelation

The Gospel of John though also a part of the story of Jesus has a different perspective from that of the Synoptics (the first three gospels) and has to be approached in a different way in order to appreciate its message. Writings related to the Johannine school of thought – I II III John and the Book of Revelation – are also taken up here so that they can be grouped as originating from a common Johannine community/circle of thought.
