The Nightingale of India: Sarojini Naidu

A poetess whose life itself was no less than a poem. A nightingale in human form who flew against the social flow by setting aside conservatism and became a unique example of woman power. Whose expressions show us the scene of a country a society from its formation to its ongoing formation in which she too has an important role. Whose affectionate smile full of hope shows us her clear intentions which include the progress of this country from children to the elderly and her poems are in our school curriculum.
