The Old Church

<p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>The history of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Millom affectionately known as the Old Church by many generations of the local inhabitants of the town where I spent my childhood has been well documented over the years. During my research into the history of Millom over the last 10 years or so I have collected many snippets of information not about the history but many other interesting facts relating to the Church from the British Newspaper Archives and these appear in chronological order within the pages of this book. Most of the information I believe has never seen the light of day before and has mostly been penned by unnamed others and transcribed by me. The images I have used are from a variety of sources including a few of my own and again some of which have never been seen before. </span></p>
