Their red and white hues mirror each other in stunning captivating beauty yet their sap is lethally toxic.</p><p></p><p>As common ornamental plants they are familiar to many yet few recognize their beautiful yet poisonous nature. Only the theater's director grasped its profound symbolism.</p><p></p><p>During a seemingly impromptu gathering he led the troupe through the floral sea. Taking oleanders as a metaphor he expounded on two-aspect theory: intoxicating fragrance may camouflage superficial vulgarity while plain appearances might conceal inner turbulence...</p><p></p><p>Thus the theater further refined this garden into a renowned Jiangnan-style landscape in the city. The director also adopted two-aspect theory as guiding methodology for their work.
