The Oration

There is no more powerful tool in the Chief Executives arsenal than the words that he speaks. This is even more evident in the case of the Vice-Chancellor. His statements determine the course of history; crafted deftly they galvanized the university public support necessary to fulfill an agenda. This collection in-part summarizes the journey of Prof. Akwasi Asabere-Ameyaw as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education Winneba; A teacher training University Located in Ghana West Africa. The institution during his tenure made and continue to make strides towards achieving its vision of becoming world class institution. Currently the University run the traditional on-campus programmes Sandwich programmes and Distance Education programmes. It has produced professionals for the Educational System in Ghana and for a number of African Institutions.
