She must navigate her issues in a new country and school with new people and social cues. Cathy struggles to find her way in a city where kids aren't friendly. She can't count the times she's been teased for her weird outfits and told she's not really black. But that's not all that changes. Her once lively mum Elsie is depressed and quiet. Her dad Tacari comes home after dark and always fights.</strong></p><p><strong style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>As family problems spiral out of control so does Cathy's mind. She fights a daily battle to figure out the difference between reality and delusion with a head plagued by voices. She isolates herself and creates a wall between herself and her feuding parents. Cathy's dad disappears and with him all comfort.</strong></p><p><strong style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>It might be easier to end it all now.
