About The Book

The short story The Outsider was written by American horror author H. P. Lovecraft. It was originally published in Weird Tales in April 1926 and was written between March and August of 1921. This piece tells the story of a mystery guy who for as long as he can remember has been living alone in a castle and decides to leave in search of human contact and light. One of Lovecrafts pieces that is frequently reprinted is The Outsider which is also one of the most read stories ever to appear in Weird Tales.
