The main purpose of the study was to determine fleet management outsourcing services the efficiency and effectiveness of fleet management outsourcing challenges facing the outsourcing of fleet at UBL and propose strategies to enhance the performance of fleet management outsourcing at UBL. A cross sectional survey was used using qualitative research design with open-ended questions and questionnaires. A study population of 58 personnel was used with a sample size of 6 participants in every department. Data was collected using questionnaires. The results revealed a majority of respondents were in the category 31 – 50 years at 50%. As for gender 77.1% are male signifying a large disparity on the employers at UBL. The results also revealed that a majority of the respondents (10.42%) have been at UBL for at least five years. For Professional training a majority of the respondents are social scientists (50%) followed by Procurement Officers (25%). Measurement of efficiency & effectiveness had ‘delivery time’ at (50%) on strategy and logistics (77.1%) agree they have a policy on logistics outsourcing but (62.5%) of these respondents believe the current 3PL’s should be changed.
