This book is an effort by author Scott Palmer to trace his ancestral roots as far back as he could. He discovered the Palmer name originated around the year 1000 in England. Palmers migrated to Scotland and then went to Northern Ireland in the 1600s. In 1864 Scotts direct family came to New York through Castle Garden and settled in the lower east side of Manhattan. In the 1930s Walter Palmer (Scotts father) went to San Diego California from Brooklyn. This book is a historical overview based on factual records and information about Scott Palmers paternal ancestors.
