In 1998 I had my first contact with the Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) an interest in and love for the deaf community through the Nova Vida Church in Belford Roxo/RJ where I am a member. From that moment on my life changed and with it my family ecclesiastical educational professional and social future. The following year we created MUS - Ministério Unção Silenciosa. Now everything revolves around this linguistic-cultural coexistence with deaf people. I took LIBRAS courses at FENEIS and a LIBRAS interpreter course offered by FENEIS in partnership with INES. I worked as a LIBRAS interpreter at FENEIS and APADA renowned institutions for the deaf in Brazil. I was a face-to-face and online tutor for the first graduating class of the Bachelor of Letters in Libras and an inclusion workshop and interpreter for the NGO Escola de Gente: comunicação em inclusão. In this work my aspiration is to be able to contribute with yet another investigation that contributes to the rise and visibility of LIBRAS for a new look at deaf teachers.
