The Pentateuch is the first five books of the Bible and is the combined translation work of William Tyndale and John Rogers with Miles Coverdale as taken from the Matthew Bible. It was published under the pseudonym Thomas Matthew by men targeted by an antagonistic queen. The Matthew Bible is a 1537 Bible made easily readable for today's readers -- without changing the wording. Every previous attempt has made changes. These five books were taken directly from that Bible - perhaps the most accurate easy-to-read English version ever printed. Originally translated by Dr. Tyndale and John Rogers with Myles Coverdale it is now transliterated into today's modern English spelling with updated font by Dr. Nathan Harding.
