General Sir Gerald Ellison who fought in South Africa and helped enact reform in the British Army after the Boer War. He served in WW1 and was the Quarter-Master General of the Gallipoli Front.</p><p></p><p>He has nothing but the highest praise for the brave soldiers who landed at Gallipoli.
