<i>The Poet</I> is a collection of love poems written by a woman to men from all over the world including President Bush. For all that is said about men for all the crimes listed Sophia Puccini loved them for no damn good reason which is the best reason of all. Whatever bruises of the flesh have been left all now depends on whether or not we are willing to do this one thing supremely well to let love do what it once did for all of us.
