The Poetic Messenger

Everyone has a story to tell. Veronica White believes that stories should be told in a poetic or prose fashion that enable people to relate and feel the experiences of others. She believes that stories of people who cannot write or express their experiences in life must also be heard through written or spoken words. In order to tell the stories of others Veronica has learned to empathize by putting herself in the other person's shoes or in the situation. As a result she writes as a messenger to tell the story of the joy pain and frustrations of others -- as depicted in the poetic prose: Anger swells Stories tell Of emotional pain That is not mine to claim The old The young Those who are illiterate Must be heard through Written or spoken words They cannot write They cannot recite Dark tales that stole their life Stories of shame Stories of blame Stories of guilt are not mine to claim I am just the messenger of their pain.
