This Book Is A Tentative Effort For Darren To Come Out Of His Shadows To Share His Feelings Beliefs And Ideas Through His Art In Poetry With A Much Larger Audience. Much Of The Poetry In This Collection Was Composed While Incarcerated And While Somewhat Autobiographical It Is Reflective Of Not Only Some Of His Personal Struggles With The Struggles Of The Downtrodden Specifically The Africans And The Native Americans. Identifying With The Underdog His Poetry Is Both Politically Motivated And Spiritually Grounded In Self-Improvement. And While Sometimes Angrily Provocative It Reflects Love And Hope Towards A Better Future Both Personally And Socially.
