The Population Crisis and the Use of World Resources

From the book represents the culmination of two separate efforts. The World Academy of Art and Science more than two years ago decided that the topic of their second volume should be the global population problem considering it as the most critical subject with which we could deal. It was probably no coincidence that at about the same time a group of undergraduate students at Stanford University during an information discussion expressed concern over the worlds population situation.
