The post-Soviet society: between the past and the democracy

This monograph explores the problem of democratization of post-Soviet societies. The author uses various approaches to the subject such as case-study surveys comparative analysis as well as globalization and sociological theories. This book discusses theoretical conception of “no war no peace society” as a model for the sociological diagnosis of post-Soviet Armenia. It takes a close look at the attitude of Armenian citizens towards the process of European integration provides a sociological analysis of school education processes in Republic Armenia.
