The Prelude BWV 997 by Johann Sebatian Bach

This work aims to present a fingering for the Prelude BWV 997 of Johann Sebastian Bach. We identify and classify the motives present in the work. Then we presented a fingering for them that reflects logic and unity and consequently for the entire Prelude. Thus we compared the editions by Frank Koonce and Frédéric Zigante which we used as reference editions addressed some problems when typing Johann Sebastian Bach''s work for guitar and concluded with the elaboration of a practical edition of the referred work.
