Lallu Lal (1763–1857) was a notable poet in the Braj Bhasha language which is a literary and cultural dialect used in North India. He is especially known for his devotional and romantic poetry. The Prem Sagur is one of his most well-known works and is considered a significant piece of literature in the Braj Bhasha tradition. The Prem Sagur is an epic poem that revolves around the divine love stories of Hindu deities primarily Krishna and Radha.
