In today''s world evil has become something commonplace everyday despite the horrors of the twentieth century experienced by humanity and perhaps most disturbingly we are in our view becoming accustomed to manifestations of evil. Therefore it is no coincidence that in contemporary philosophical discourse the problem of evil remains one of the most topical in practical terms as well. In our study we turn to the works of Kazakh philosophers to existentialist philosophers to modern American philosophers whose reflection on evil seems to us interesting and to a certain extent clarifying the problem of evil.
