The Problem of Peace in Kant

The present work deals with the problematic of peace in Kant: implication for the DRC. It proposes to show how by inspiring us with the Kantian lesson lasting peace can be possible in spite of the tenacity and permanence of wars and conflicts of all kinds in the world in general and in the Democratic Republic of Congo in particular. In other words to what extent can the Kantian approach teach us about the relevance of the problem of world peace? To what extent can the utopia or illusion of a lasting peace give way to a true necessity hope and even reality of peace for all?
