The Prometheus Deception

<p><strong>How could an adoption turn into such a deceptive nightmare?</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>After years of trying to have a baby Ken and Valerie Malcolm have decided to adopt.</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>Their adopted six-month-old Chance is the best thing to happen to their marriage and to their life together and the Malcolms soon learn to love him as their own.</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>When Chance is fourteen months old Ken begins to notice strange things happening to and around his son-things which cannot be easily explained. Afraid of what his wife will think and that he might be experiencing mental problems he soon discovers through a series of disturbing events that Chance is not a normal child and that a secret arm of the government (as well as a <em>not</em>-so-secret agency) has been monitoring his family since the adoption.</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>Now Ken and his son are on the run pursued by a powerful agency that will not relent until they have their child-a child whose fate will determine the future of all mankind.</strong></p>
