War is the enemy of man. Cultural Heritage is what we received from those who came before us. Our Duty is to Protect and Conserve it to pass it on in our turn. Our identity is the sum of our past and the result of our environment. This book is a dismal echo of the acts that vandalized the cultural landscape of Congo during the sad events of 1993 1997 and 1998.
