It is a spin-off of her Starlight Investigations Series and gives her fans a more personal relationship with the main characters of those books.</p><p>Readers do not need to have read the Starlight Investigation series to enjoy the Halloween Madness stories. However they do contain spoilers for the first two books in the Starlight Investigation series Jealousy Monsters and Vampire.</p><p>Due to multiple requests from young people for shorter books each story in the Halloween Madness series is a shorter read ranging between 19000 and 22000 words.
