The Punished Wound

<p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Simon Lichman's poignant poetry collection </span><em style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>The Punished Wound</em><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)> was inspired by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Simon is the Founding Executive Director of the Centre for Creativity in Education and Cultural Heritage a non-profit-making organisation in Jerusalem which brings together Israeli and Palestinian Jewish and Arab (Moslem and Christian) communities through educational programmes based on folklore. His poems reveal the psychological burden of wanting peaceful coexistence while one's nation is engaged in an ongoing military conflict.</span></p>
