Quarter and the Dollar

<p><em>The Quarter and the Dollar</em> is a children's book for ages four and up that deals with issues of bullying self-esteem and acceptance. It can be used to teach children how to deal with bullies in a positive way while also teaching them skills to build confidence and self-esteem. <em>The Quarter and the Dollar</em> shows children that differences are what make them unique and worthy of respect. Quincy Quarter is repeatedly bullied by Donnie Dollar who then finds himself in trouble; however by helping and forgiving Donnie Dollar Quincy Quarter discovers friendship and realizes his true value.</p>
