The Rarámuri people

The Sierra Tarahumara holds one of Mexico's most profound living legacies: the Rarámuri people. This paper reveals their history spirituality and wisdom through a journey from their archaeological roots to their presence in the city. In these urban environments the Rarámuri face discrimination job insecurity limited access to health services food transition loss of symbolic territory and profound cultural transformations.
