Though the lives of the working classes have become </span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>the theme of many novels this is the first novel based on the life </span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>of plantation workers. It not only throws light on the sufferings </span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>undergone by the workers but reflects the energy imparted by </span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>AKG's intervention.
