Reenchantment of Political Science

In <I>The Reenchantment of Political Science</I> Nasr M. Arif presents an unprecedented epistemological analysis of comparative politics and a reconstruction of the methodological foundation of political science. The aim of this study is to analyze deconstruct and synthesize theories of comparative politics in order to place them in their respective epistemological historical social and scientific frameworks and discover their inner hypotheses ideas and theoretical potentialities as well as their interpretative power. This understanding will come from assessing the validity of these theories for the study of issues in comparative politics.
