The Reflection of Elias Dumont

In 1811 the New Madrid earthquakes cause a transformation of the Mississippi river as well as a young man named Elias Dumont. The flooded river delivers a curious mirror into Elias' possession that consequently gives him immortality. Elias possessed by the mirror destroys anyone he believes may know about his secret including his first love. Suicidal over his actions and unable to die he goes on to live a life of debauchery until he falls in love with a lamia named Echo. Along the years he devises a plan to cheat his curse and gain true immortality by freeing his soul from the mirror. Can Elias avoid the others whose souls are trapped in the mirror and who will stop at nothing to get the mirror back?
