The relevance of chia production in Tropics to enhance food security

This publication will guide farmers to obtain the maximum yields and quality of chia seeds in additional to information about the chia market to enable to plan the production. The book is an outcome of Bruce’s experiments with efforts from his students and colleagues at MMU to develop articles and gather literature. The team was assisted by Kakyo Tracy Alexis from Muni University from to edit the book which provides supporting evidences that chia is an important crop for tropical farmers. In case it is integrated into their cropping systems to diversify their sources of income.
