Six years after starting college interrupted by two years in the army during the Korean War he graduated with a bachelor of science degree and was hired to teach. </p><p>Curtis’s story will give readers insight about this young man who grew up on a farm and became a suburban high school educator. Curtis shares the experiences he has had within the school walls promoting teenagers to success first through teaching then as a coach and an assistant principal. He offers an insider’s perspective on things that happen to young people while they are formulating the style of life they are seeking. Sometime their choices are not good and they pay the penalty.  </p><p>The Right Place at the Right Time is about youth including the author while he was growing up and the students he worked with as they were developing into adults. It is about a school district in a very small community as it expands into a large suburban city. The high school within that city began as the smallest but turned out to be the largest school in Minnesota.</p>
