The right to health in Congolese positive law

The issue of the right to health remains a major concern for all humanity in view of its fundamental nature to the point where its implementation is closely linked to other human rights and its realization depends on the right to quality health care nutritious food decent and healthy housing work life and a healthy environment. Thus the effectiveness of this right in the DRC is questioned because the good health of everyone is becoming a utopia because of the failure of the State to create the conditions for the satisfaction of economic and social rights interdependent with the right to health; the circulation of medicines of dubious quality; the absence of laws on the manufacture and sale of medicines and the practice of traditional medicine etc. This book is a real tool for students and professionals of law legislators as well as political and health authorities because the promotion of public health must interest every human being. The book suggests legislative and administrative reforms for the successful implementation of this guaranteed fundamental right.
