The Ring of Minos

Among the spectacular exhibits in the Archaeological Museum in Heraklion is a massive gold signet ring inscribed with images of the Great Goddess and her acolytes. It has witnessed the birth and destruction of the Minoan empire passed through the hands of Theseus and Ariadne and was buried near Knossos. In modern times it was found lost and found again under mysterious circumstances. Inspired by the history archaeology and mythology of Minoan Crete this cycle of eight enthralling stories written by master storyteller Geoff Mead with illustrations by Eleanor Allitt re-imagines the adventures of the Ring of Minos through its 4500 year history.
