The publishing of these classics is an endeavour to bring out at reasonable prices scholarly editions of texts in common use in Indian Universities by students of English Literature. All the titles are edited by experienced academics providing adequate editorial matter in the form of a biographical sketch of the author literary criticism introduction annotations notes questions topics for discussion and an up-to-date bibliography.
